ATU Canadian Locals Rally in Kelowna Against Driver Assault

Bus drivers from across Canada came together in front of Kelowna’s City Hall Wednesday afternoon, to protest the need for change within BC Transit buses.

The rally happened in Kelowna as a result of four assaults on workers in a single day last month. On May 20, four Kelowna transit workers were assaulted and that has the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) speaking about the need for improved safety measures.
